When you work from home look at all you have to give up. I say that to myself every winter day when the snow is falling and its 5AM. Just look at the price I have to pay to work from home. To me, a good representative makes or breaks the party. Not only was there no hard sell or pressure, the Silpada representative, Lisa Mikottis, was very knowledgeable about all of the items that were carried. As it was, she had laid out a long dining room table full of jewelry, and it was a very wide variety. There were a few things we were interested in from the catalog that weren’t laid out, but she explained if she brought all her pieces, it would take her hours to set up. Instead of handing everyone an order form and pencil and directing them to begin filling it out while she talked (and we’ve all had that happen to us at these parties!), there was no big talk, and the order forms and pens were in a different room. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Lisa simply stood nearby waiting to answer questions, should we have any. She seems to be some type of uber party representative, as she also represents B’s Purses.

This is the way a representative should be – there to help and answer questions, without pressuring you to buy.

Now, when you decided to start a home based business, did you think through exactly what you wanted to do? How were you going to make it work for you? Did you budget everything you would need – start-up costs, merchandise or product purchases, and expenses such as advertising?

With many internet marketing programs, advertising is the single highest expense. So how were you planning to increase exposure to your home business opportunity? With the rising cost of gasoline many areas of our economy are affected, many people are getting laid off and companies are downsizing. I am in no way affiliated with Isagenix in any way, I did have a friend who was in Isagenix at one time and he loved their products. This is simply my personal review about Isagenix and the process of buying leads for your work from home business review. I give isagenix two thumbs up, and highly recommend them.

I do not recommend that you buy leads, I give the buying leads process to build your work from business two thumbs down. Stop buying leads to try and get customers for you home business, buying leads is like throwing your money away. Stop buying leads to try and build a downline, there are better methods and I will share some with you. If you buy leads and ask your downline to do buy leads, you will subject them to an onslaught of hang ups, irate people, wrong numbers, no answers and even worse – wasting their money. If you ask your downline to buy leads, you will eventually lose those people as they will quit the business. Can you blame them?

Then how do you find customers and business builders? To get new customers for my business I simply buy customers. I have tried many methods for building a previous business – car signs, newspaper ads, warm market, sizzle cards or drop cards, signs, buying leads (stop buying leads!), mailings (too expensive), and other crazy methods. Some of these methods may work for some people buy I prefer to use the Internet to build my business. I don’t like old school network marketing methods. Do you like going to meetings? Here are some leads prices I found on the Internet using a Google search. This will give you an idea of the high cost of buying leads. These may be the most amazing leads on the Internet, I don’t know because I stopped buying leads. You can also do Google searches for leads and find Leads prices. I quit buying leads and will never buy leads again.

Do your research about buying leads, talk to home business entrepreneurs who have purchased leads in the past and you can come to your own conclusion about buying leads. I quit buying leads!

Retail sales online, excluding travel purchases, are set to grow to 4 billion in 2008 from 4.5 billion last year, fueled by sales of apparel, computers and autos, according to a survey conducted by Internet analysis firm Forrester Research for Shop.org Security, the online arm of the National Retail Federation trade group. That projection is below the 21 percent increase seen in the prior year, but industry officials attribute it to the maturing of the business, not the slow economy.

E-commerce “is clearly the bright spot in retailing,” said Scott Silverman, executive director of Shop.org Security.

It’s clear to see that what we have been hearing and sensing about the growth in internet sales of goods, service and information is in fact documented.
