Home Based Business – personal decision

Posted on September 3rd, 2008 in home business | No Comments »

Working from home and owning your own home based business is not the perfect combination for everyone. You must have drive, discipline, ambition, passion, and be highly organized.

Before you begin your own home based business make sure you are up to the challenge and have everything in order.

You must be a self-motivator to work from home. No one to tell you that you have to go to work, but if you don’t keep up with the work, you won’t get compensated. I believe you have to be passionate about your work and the product. You also have to be prepared to deal with what might come up.

A home based business is such a individual decision, but I think one needs to be a disciplined person in order to succeed. There’s no getting to it tomorrow and that takes determination.

Some advantages of working from home are freedom, flexibility, and cost. The reasons are varied and numerous. Being available for your children. Working on your own time.
Setting your own schedule. Having the comforts of home at work.

Also, running a franchise from home can greatly reduce the initial investment necessary to start your business because you will not have to pay huge real estate fees, and operating and inventory costs will be considerably lower in a home-based business.

First and foremost, you can achieve a lifestyle that gives you freedom and flexibility.
Flexibility is a huge advantage to working from home. I can eat whenever I want, too! There’s great flexibility and freedom in working from home. No boss looking at the time clock either.

A home based business gives you the power to set your own hours and be your own boss. Making money work at home has never been more attainable thanks to the internet. Now just about anybody with internet access can start a home business online and earn a realistic income. Estimates predict three of every ten households in the United States and other parts of the world will have some kind of home based business by the year 2010!

Home Based Business Tips
Myth or Reality

To me the total idea of having a home based business has become a world of broken promises and lies. Even with the greatest desire to fulfill my dreams of working from home it has been trounced by all the scam and so-called proven business opportunities on the Internet.

I have followed all the advice that one can find on the Internet about starting a Home based business. I Have done Due diligence on each opportunity that I have joined over the years, have spend numerous hours, more than I really care to admit to spending. The hours that have been spent working on the computer trying to advertise and get my business and product in front of a greater number of possible customers.

As with any Home based business there will be cost to start up, even if most things say you can start from free. I think that the word “Free” needs to be removed and or restricted in it use on the free Internet. Using free in advertising is a deception that myself and the majority of people fall for more times then not. But after falling for so many free things that has cost me money, I just delete any e-mail I get with free in it and by pass all the Internet garbage.

All in all though, I will continue to look at ways to start my own home based business, just knowing that the chances are very slim to none. Without a desire and a dream I am not sure what I would do, but glory be to God he has given me a desire to succeed. I hope that as everyone in this world looks for the same chance to work from home that each of them and myself will finally find the rainbow.

Another option that you have is joining a Network Marketing Company. You must be careful and do your homework in order to join with the right company. Look for a <A HREF=”http://workathome.businessopportunitycoop.com/
“>home based business that allows you to purchase customers. With that business model you can build a strong foundation for your home based business.

Home Based Business 33

How to choose a home based business from the hundreds and more that are available? There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a home based business for yourself.

These factors include:

1. Are the operators of the business honest and ethical? Try to check to see if they have been involved with any other home based business previous, that suggests their honesty and ethical behaviour may be in doubt. You can Google their name plus the home based business name, check such sites as scam.com, read as much about the person or persons as you can to get a feel for them.

2. You must be able to contact the operators by phone or Skype. Email is subject to abuse so not as important a means of communication as voice. Honest operators are happy to talk to you, if you yourself are genuine about getting involved with their business as a home based business independent business owner.

3. Is the business product real and not just software that says it can do more than anything else that has been developed for the home based business industry.

4. Look for a business that has more than five years minimum. If it is a start up get rich quick ground floor operation then give it a big fat miss. Save your money for something more stable, more depth and a greater probability for you to become successful. Look for its good business a slow get rich home based business that may in fact take you more than two or three years to achieve.

5. Look for a home based business that can be easily duplicable. MLM businesses preach duplication but the reality is duplication is not possible with a MLM business, because no one can do what you will do. MLM businesses teach all new distributors to buy leads to build their home based business. Buying leads has a 97% fail rate. Not a good business option when choosing a business to join.

Those are just five factors to consider when looking to choose a good home based business to promote. There are other factors to think about. Common sense applied will nearly always save you money. Think before you leap.

Low Cost Home Business Ideas: Laundry and Alterations

Low Cost Home Business Ideas: Laundry and Alterations

This is the second installment of my series of ideas for a home business that can be started with little or no money.

Home Business Idea #1; Wash and Fold

This home business is great because you can take a skill that you should already have, and then put it to good use to service people that do not have the skill, time, or the energy to do it. Offering a pick up and delivery laundry service means that you get someone’s clothes, wash and dry them, fold them, and then return the clothes to their house.

The only thing you will need for your home business is a washer, dryer and soap to wash the clothes. Be sure to check with your clients about any allergies or personal preferences. Some laundry companies require the client to provide their own laundry detergent for such reasons.

A great low cost way to advertise your home business is by placing inexpensive ads in Senior civic centers on Craigslist and in Penny Saver newspapers.

Home Business Idea #2: Alteration Service

This is another great home business that appeals especially to bachelors and elderly people. If you have basic sewing skills, you may want to consider starting an alteration service. The only out of pocket expense you will have here is your sewing supplies: various colors of thread, needles, and possibly a sewing machine if you are planning on taking on larger jobs.

Since your main focus for your home business will be clothing, you will want to advertise at local clothing shops, department stores, church and social organizaions or in local newspapers in the free classified sections. You may also want to consider talking with businesses that supply uniforms to employees and
offering them a bulk deal of some sort. The business can then recommend their employees to you if an alteration in their uniform is needed.

A New Home Business – Event Planner

A New Home Business – Event Planner
Aug 24, 2008

Why not be an Event Planner. This sounds more like fun than work, but it is actually work, one that you can successfully run with your Event planners are especially important to the corporate world, although some clients could be private. The first step of course is to determine if it is a corporate home business or a social event.

It’s up to the client to advise the event planner what type of event and the proposed budget. The event planner then arranges everything including finding the correct venue, issuing invitations, catering, transportation and accommodations. Any special needs are also the responsibility of the event planner. After the objectives are clear, the client and planner will decide where to hold the event, who the attendees will be, where they are traveling from and what transportation arrangements are needed. All these arrangements can be made at your home business.

In addition, the event planner will arrange for catering, communications, labor, meeting facilities, printing and supplies, entertainment, speakers, gratuities, awards, insurance and anything else that may be required for the specific event in question. The event planner, of course, relies on third parties to actually provide these services and will have an established network of contacts with suppliers and vendors among caterers, hotels, travel agencies, printers, furniture/ equipment and so on. The arrangements with the third parties were made previously when the event planner set up his/her home home business

Charges issued by event planners are varied. Some planners charge a percentage of the total cost of the event, while others charge the client an hourly wage. In either case, event planners must require a deposit to get things rolling. As you become more accustom to your new home business, you will gain knowledge as to how much deposit is necessary.

As with any home business, in the beginning event planners should expect long hours and low pay. As your experience and reputation improves so will the money. Unfortunately, the hours will probably always be long, but there’s time for resting between events. Your personal qualities should include leadership, organization skills and attention to every little detail.

A calm disposition is required for your new home business. This is essential for any event planner as things rarely go smoothly as planned. Be ready for that last minute disaster!

A Home Business Made Easy

A Home Business Made Easy

There are many work from home businesses out there, but there is definitely one that stands out above the rest. Its Good Business has to be an |easy home business|. Below are a few of the reasons why this has – happily, I might add – taken people off guard.

With It’s Good Business you join an international team that has great leadership that knows what it is doing. And the team is in constant communication with Skype 24 hours a day. Someone is always awake so if you need an answer on what, where or when about your easy home business then you can have the answer almost instantly. I have never seen a team that works so tirelessly for the good of all.

With most MLM companies their products are excellent but they all teach a one dimensional marketing strategy. Buy and call MLM business leads. It is not easy to call MLM business leads and try and convert them into paying customers or distributors. The truth be told, with the way that everyone’s email boxes have been saturated with spam, it is downright impossible to have someone join your home business.

So at Its Good Business we quietly grow our home business another way. We buy customers, so we never have to be on the telephone trying to sell this easy home business because any MLM business is not easy to sell. The business model is easy to understand and explain right off the bat. We buy customers and earn commissions on the purchases of the customers. It’s that simple.

You know you are tired of all the lies and false promises. If you are looking for an easy home business then check out Its Good Business. There is no hype or BS. Just visit the website, register and attend either or both presentations on Sat 1pm and Wed 7pm Pacific times to learn how simple, effective and easy home business should be. You will understand why it’s called It’s Good Business.

Building an Internet Home Business

You can build a successful Internet Home Business without working 16 hour days and without processing tons of leads if you chose your home business model wisely. Contrary to what you may have been told you don’t have to travel to weekly meetings nor do you have to spend countless hours recruiting and endless horde of distributors to fill your Internet home businesses because the ones that you recruited just last week quit because they weren’t making any money.

Imagine that!

Even better is the fact that you can create a huge home business organization without buying or generating any leads. Many home business entrepreneurs are unaware of the opportunity that awaits where you can ‘have your cake and eat it too’ with a home business system that really give you the freedom that you dreamed of but never found in all of the other home business opportunities that you have reviewed.

I also struggled before I found itsgoodbusiness.net. I looked at many different home business ideas and opportunities before finding Its Good Business. I attended one of their free home business presentations, several times before I could wrap my head around the information they presented.

What they showed me was contrary to everything I ever had heard before. First they told me that I didn’t have to buy leads and then they told me that I didn’t need to ever buy another lead again. Until I attended their presentation I never realized how expensive it was to buy leads. I never really thought about how expensive it was to generate your own free leads. I knew the lead reliability was low but not until then did I realize how financially damaging buying leads was to my home business success.

If you are interested in starting a home business online would highly recommend that you attend one of the itsgoodbusiness.net presentations and find out for yourself just how easy it can be when you have a system in place that helps you to succeed by providing direct access into an established consumer base which allows you to acquire real customers at a fraction of the cost of buying worthless leads.

Home Business: What if you could buy customers instead of buying leads?

Not just any customer, but a customer interested in your specific company’s product or service. Imagine how much faster you could build your home based business. NOW that would be the way to start a successful Home Business

Have you tried a Home Business business only to fail, and fail and fail? Don’t feel like you are alone. There is now way I would tell you have many times I failed at a Home Business opportunity.

Most online entrepreneurs run into a Home Business or two along the way that was “too good to be true” only to find out that it was indeed “too good to be true!

When the information is compelling enough, resistance is futile. This type of Home Business opportunity is designed to fail. Why? The same people promote many Home Business opportunities and will be glad to lead you on to the next, destined to fail, business opportunity.

Yes, legitimate Home Businesss is available on the internet, but you MUST research the product before jumping in with both feet. Remember one thing: ‘The better the catch phrase, the more difficult to is just walk away, even when you know you should.” The internet attracts new users every day.
The World Wide Web launched about 20 years ago in my area. Internet subscribers skyrocketed; new connections to the internet continue to soar today. It is estimated that someone new will sign on the internet every 20 seconds, It’s no wonder everyone sees the potential for home business success. The internet grows exponentially every day, which means a constant supply of new customers for your Home Business.

Many home business owners weigh the cost of purchasing leads(which only yield 1% of the list showing interest), versus finding a customer for life. This is good news for lead brokers who sell lead lists, bad news for the leads on the list who are bombarded with marketing information. Some lists are sold multiple times. It’s no wonder people cry “spam.”

Recently, I ran across a home business that is actually designed to succeed.
Its Good Business marketing strategy is designed expecially for the success of your home based business!

How to Build a Great Home Business

It does not have to be all work and no play to generate income from home. With proper planning, you can build a successful Internet home business without working 16 hour days and without processing tons of leads if you chose your home business model wisely. Contrary to what you may have been told you don’t have to travel to weekly meetings nor do you have to spend countless hours recruiting an endless horde of distributors to fill your Internet home businesses because the ones that you recruited just last week quit because they weren’t making any money. There really is a better way to work at home.

Try to imagine the unimaginable – a home business without buying leads!

A good income from a home based business is all but a dream to most people, but it doesn’t have to be. Even better is the fact that you can create a huge home business organization without buying or generating any leads. Many home business entrepreneurs are unaware of the opportunity that awaits where you can ‘have your cake and eat it too’ with a home business system that really gives you the freedom that you dreamed of but never found in all of the other home business opportunities that you have reviewed. It is unique, yet simple in its ability to generate an income for people who are willing to make it work for them.

Most people have been wrung through the wringer when it comes to Internet opportunities. I also struggled before I found itsgoodbusiness.net. I looked at many different home business ideas and opportunities before finding Its Good Business. I attended one of their online home business presentations several times before I could wrap my head around the information they presented. When I finally understood what it was about, it made good business sense.

Everyone I know wants more free time, and would love to have a home business. You will understand why it is called It’s Good Business.
